Context

CEportal is software designed for professionals specializing in CE marking management, as well as the installation and maintenance of automatic doors in industrial facilities, retail establishments, and garages.

The platform needed to handle a large volume of specialized information while providing a clear and efficient user experience for users with varying levels of digital expertise.

Challenge

The existing interface was confusing, visually cluttered, and inconsistent with the brand identity. The system relied on long, poorly structured forms, which increased the cognitive load on users and slowed down processes.

In addition, it was necessary to create a consistent experience across the app, the corporate website, and the visual identity.

Solution

Contribution

Design approach

The priority was to create a user-friendly experience for non-technical users, with a special focus on complex forms and maintenance workflows.

I worked to simplify navigation and structure information more intuitively, prioritizing clarity in complex processes.

I organized forms and workflows to make each step easier to understand by using:

  • a clean visual system,
  • logical grouping of content,
  • clear hierarchies,
  • and navigation guided by progress indicators to help users stay on track during lengthy tasks.

Result

The project made it possible to transform a technical tool into a more accessible and visually cohesive experience. The client gained a platform equipped to manage complex processes with greater clarity, supported by a stronger visual identity and a digital presence aligned with the product. The redesign improved brand perception and provided a more professional, clear, and consistent interface on both the app and the website.

Impact

Reducing the perceived complexity of highly technical processes.

Unifying the brand experience across products, the website, and visual identity, thereby reinforcing the perception of the company’s professionalism.

Learnings

✏️

Clarity requires balance

Designing for industrial environments requires striking a balance between technical precision and ease of use without oversimplifying the processes.
